Autumn is upon us. So this virtual wine class will focus on FOOD AND WINE PAIRING — an essential skill to hone as we head toward the fall and holiday entertaining season!

NOTE: If you’ve taken my Wine and Cheese or Wine and Pizza pairing classes, know that this will be a much broader overview of wine and food pairing than those focused classes were. There’s a lot more for you to learn, so please join me!

In This Experience You Will

Do a tasting experiment that will showcase why specific characteristics in different types of wine DO and DON’T pair well with specific characteristics in different foods.

Gain a better understanding of what you DO and DON’T like and why.

Learn valuable, practical tips to consider when pairing wine and food for any occasion.

When

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th at 6 p.m. Mountain Time — It’ll run about 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Where

This virtual class will be hosted online via Zoom. Once you register, you’ll be sent a link and pass code to use the day of the class.

How Much

$20.00 per SCREEN

For example, if three people will be watching together on one screen, the cost is $20.00.

Eventually, I’ll be charging per person. So grab as many people as you want to take advantage of this introductory pricing. I suggest you make it a party!

In exchange, you’ll be prompted to provide the email of each person who will be watching on your screen when you register.

Additionally, there will be wine and a few simple food items that you will need to purchase for yourself before the class. THAT SHOPPING LIST IS BELOW! DON’T MISS IT!

Previous A Land Beyond Wine Experience Attendee Reviews:

“I absolutely loved this class. I’ve always been a wine lover but I didn't truly understand wine to the depth the instructor went with us. I felt confident to even try new wines. Can't wait until the next class.”

“I loved how casual and comfortable the class was for people that may not understand wine pairing that well. The wines were amazing!”

“It was a fun experience at Zin Valle and the pairing with pizza was a great idea. A simple food that everyone serves. I appreciate the handouts to keep for reference. Lilia was very knowledgeable and a great teacher.”

“Great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A fun day to spend with family and friends as we sat around afterwards enjoying even more wine and pizza.”

“So many of us wine drinkers are limited by our language around the subject. It's always a delicate balance between trying not to sound stupid and also trying not to sound pompous by using words you heard other wine drinkers use. This class is masterfully led and taught by the knowledgeable and charming Lilia who has a way of teaching you the hows and whys on YOUR level. My palate finally has the vocabulary it needs to describe what it enjoys. I plan on going to every class they offer.”

"This class was very informative and perfectly paced. Just the right amount of information to keep you engaged with the ability to ask any questions and have them answered by someone very knowledgeable was amazing. The class setting was perfect with the right amount of people to have an enjoyable learning experience and still feel comfortable enough to ask questions."

“Loved the whole experience; nice setup and very welcoming vibes :)”

“I loved that it was a very intimate class. I’m glad I was able to share it with people that seemed eager to learn about wine. It made me see wine from a different perspective. Thank you!”

“Lilia was amazing! She is obviously very knowledgeable about wines, but she shares her knowledge in a friendly, easy-to-understand, non-wine-snobby way.”
